Matt and Mason enjoyed baseball, ball-park franks, and a boys night out. Above is the picture Mason took of the field. Even though Des Moines now ranks
#5 on the top 10 best city to raise a family, it's not the #1 place to watch baseball. But we're ok with that, because at the minor leagues you can buy GA tickets and there's no need to bring binoculars.

Postgame highlight - Choo-Choo! Mason loves trains. He and Matt were walking to their car (ok, mini van), when the red lights started flashing and they were stopped to admire the passing train. All in all, it was a great night for my little boy.
