Desi 16 months

Desi is a blessing... She's the only person we know that when waking up, immediately smiles and starts jumping or talking. She loves to get up and go! She's scaled just about every tall obstacle in our house. Yesterday, she climbed on top of the changing table, to check that off her list.

Desi's started to sing songs now which is really sweet to hear. Happy Birthday, ABCs and Itsy Bitsy Spider are some favorites. Our daily conversations include talking about Mason and what he's doing, establishing what she can do and what she thinks she should do, and identifying noises (planes, diggers, animals, helicopters, etc.). Although well versed in heavy equipment knowledge, she has grown fond of her baby doll and caring for it.

We're thankful for Desi Lou and the joy she brings to our lives.
