One year later, Desi has prove to be as active in person as she was in the womb. She's a go-getter and enjoys obstacles. Her latest feat is trying to climb up slides... she scares us at times, because we haven't found anything she's afraid of. Mason is a great complement, as his cautiousness will certainly keep her safe as they grow up together. Desi is walking, talking, and signing a lot. She loves animals, especially dogs and will snuggle if you're reading her a book. We're very thankful for Mason and Desi.
Desi Lou Roberts was born a year ago today. The day began with Matt and I heading off to the hospital so my labor could be induced. My dear friend Laurel, an RN at the hospital, came in to be my nurse for the day. Between Matt and Laurel, I was relaxed and excited to deliver this baby. My water broke at 9a.m. and Desi was out 4 1/2 hours later. Mason, Pop and Gram came to visit that day. Uncle Luke also made the drive up. Papa, Nana, Great Grammy and more family came to visit. We were so excited to share our new little blessing.
