Desi had her six-month check up yesterday. She's grown an inch and gained a pound. That put's her at 17lbs, 27 inches ... well into the 95th percentile. Way to go Desi!
We were hoping to get her a flu shot, but to our surprise, there were only flu shots available for Title 19 babies. The office ran out of private sector shots and only had the government stock left. So, because Desi's dad works hard and pays for insurance, her health is compromised. Needless to say, Desi's first taste of Health Care Reform was pretty sickening.
