We'll we are finally in our new house. We've learned a lot about perseverance through the process of basically rebuilding this house. The verses in Romans 5:1-5 come to mind a lot.
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Literally hundreds of hours were spent working on the house. Our parents tirelessly came up to help on the weekends. We also had aunts, uncles and many church friends come to volunteer their time.
Mason and Desi are such a joy to us. We're thankful for Mason. He loves to learn and figure out how things work. He's been helping dad work on projects at our new house. His latest task was handing daddy the spacers for tiling the backsplash in the kitchen.
We're also thankful for Desi. She is spunky in every way. When she's not sleeping, she's moving. She's close to crawling, which is incredible to think about ... I think keeping up with Mason is a big incentive! I'm still trying to figure out her hair and her sleeping. Hopefully, they'll both be tamed soon:-)
Here's our new address to update your address book:
828 25th St.
Everything else is the same, since we just moved four doors up the street.

The house looks amazing. I can't wait to see it in person. And don't work too hard to tame Desi's hair - I kind of like the wild look. ;) Loved the video!
